Mysteries and must-sees from San Francisco to Santa Monica

After more than two weeks on the road it wasn’t all bad that I had to wait for a couple of days before Louise could fly up to SF since it gave me some much needed time for blogging and relaxing. I’d opted for Santa Cruz to be my base for the two days and […]

Biking the Golden Gate Bridge – San Francisco pt. 2

My second full day in San Francisco was all about exploring the city on two wheels. So I started out by picking up a bike and then doing a 2 hour guided tour to Sausalito north of SF.

Luckily I managed to escape! – San Francisco pt. 1

My two and a half days/three nights in San Francisco were pretty jam-packed so I think I might have to split it into two separate posts. On my way from Yosemite to SF I stopped by an outlet center so I didn’t arrive in SF till late in the afternoon. I was staying very close […]

Mules and mountains in Yosemite

It wasn’t until I started looking through my pictures from Yosemite that I began to realize how magnificent that area is. I spent three days exploring the area in different ways and didn’t manage to figure out what all the fuss was about until just now.

Sunshine, sports and sightseeing in San Diego

Friday it was finally time for me to leave Copenhagen and board the plane towards Los Angeles (with a very quick change of flight in London – apparently 1h20min was enough for both me and my suitcase to make it!).

    About me

I’m a Copenhagen based civil engineer with a passion for traveling. This time I’m heading down under for the very first time. Come along for three and a half weeks of amazing adventures with koalas and kangaroos!

    About my Australian adventure

I’m flying into Sydney and from there I’ll slowly make my way up the East Coast ending in Cairns. With more than plenty to see and do on the way and only a limited amount of time to do so, I’ve chosen to do it as a solo road trip.

I can’t wait to get to see just a teeny-tiny bit of what Australia has to offer!
