Although I’m not leaving Thailand for another 11 days it’s becoming obvious to me that my time here is slowly running out. I have finished almost everything I need to do for my divemaster course and only have one last thing to do (besides the dreaded snorkel test). I have to take out at least one person doing a Discover Scuba Diving course which is a dive for people who just want to try diving without doing the full Open Water course. I will of course be supervised by an instructor while doing it.
I have spent the last few days mostly fundiving and only assisting a little bit whenever it has been needed. Lately specially the divesite Chumphon Pinnacle has been absoutely amazing with so much aquatic life. Huge schools of fish have been hanging around which I find so beautiful and fantastic!
On this morning’s dive to HTMS Sattakut (the wreck) we were spoiled with both a great barracuda swimming around for a bit and a turtle that was out and about. I have yet to actually catch a photo of a turtle here as I didn’t bring my camera out today.
I’ve come to photographing quite a lot and especially underwater photographing! It’s definitely something I want to work on getting better at in the future. For now you’ll have to do with the best I’ve got so far..
I have yet to determine when I leave the island as I’m thinking about taking a day or two in Bangkok on my way out.
But who wants to leave this before they absolutely definitely really have to?
